I’m on vacation this week.
Well. The vacation they way it happens these days when it is not a full disconnect from work and other aspects of life.
That’s good and bad. Some of the things I was was responding to are from passion projects. They also are linked with work.
Rambling some more, it makes me ponder what it would be like to retire when hopefully more things are passion projects.

Day 2 in a row of writing.
Yes. A blogging app does make this easier. No this is not, yet, what I was hoping for. I’m attributing this to my lack of understanding how this program works but that will take longer for me to figure out so it looks like how I want it. I did read a review where someone would write like this but publish as draft and finish within their wordpress site. Markdown will need to be something I tackle.
I do have plans to try and use this for writing other works and compare it against Scrivener which is designed for writing but they don’t want to set up something for blog publishing and they don’t want to rewrite their syncing beyond dropbox for, as I understand it, their concerns that icloud and others don’t sync properly.

Ulysses
I just downloaded and subscribed to Ulysses. I’m hoping being able to use my computer and then publish will be faster and easier than opening up wordpress and doing the work. There are other programs that were recommended but I’ll try this one first. Now to see if I can publish just this part.
I kinda miss Word ’97 or whatever it was I did use to publish directly to wordpress.
I wonder how people keep up the motivation to continue writing frequently.
I get it if somebody has monetizing it and is making most of their income off of it. It’s your job. You sit down you work on something you write it maybe you even proofread it. That’s how you make your money.
I have ideas for things that I want to write about, maybe sometimes too many ideas. A certain paralysis in wanting to write and wanting to keep writing, but feeling a little burnout of the process. I think my goal needs to be reset. Instead of trying to go more frequent, Just go for the quality and the enjoyment.
